Rate your local Pub

Birmingham CAMRA spends a great deal of time visiting pubs in the Birmingham area, but there are so many, we can't cover them all in the time available. This is where you come in. If your local or any pub you visit in the city serves real ale and/or cider, we would like to hear your thoughts about the quality of the beer. This is especially so if its not one we already know about, such as those on our Pubs page or in the current 'Good Beer Guide'. We also like to hear about pubs which have closed or re-opened after a lengthy period of closure.

CAMRA has a national scoring system for beer quality, which allows us to compile the information received and compare like with like. This requires various information on the date of survey and either a general rating from 0-5, or preferably, a list of traditional ales served each with its own rating.

Please let us know of any pubs which deserve a look at by emailing the Webmaster with the following information :

1. Name of submitter (Please indicate if CAMRA member)

2. Date of visit

3. Pub Name and district of Birmingham

4. Pub rating from 0 to 5 with 0 representing Very Poor, 2 Average and 5 being Excellent

5. (optional) List of beers available, or indicate no real ale.

Alternatively, you can fill out a scoring card each time you visit a real ale pub. Blank scoring cards for printing out can be downloaded here in Adobe Acrobat ® format.
